Amir buys a new car for £16470. The value of the car will depreciate by 2% each year. Work out how much amir's car will cost aft
Ronch [10]

Answer:

Amir's car will cost £10348.88 after 23 years.

Step-by-step explanation:

I finally found a UK human!

This is compound interest so you have to find a decimal multiplier and multiply that with £16470 to the power of 23.

The decimal multiplier would be 0.98. This is because you do 100% - 2% as depreciating basically means a decrease, which gives you 98% and then you divide that by 100 to get your decimal multiplier - 0.98.

16470 × 0.98^{23} = £10348.88

I hope that helps you!! ^-^

HELP FIRST TO ANSWER ALL IS BRAINLEIST!!!!!!!!!
andreev551 [17]

Answer:

1. D) 1 9/20

2. B) 7/12

4. D) $50.00

Step-by-step explanation:

The working is as follows :

1. Mrs. Lang bought 3/4 pound of red grapes and 7/10 pound of green grapes. To find out how many are in total we have to add both values total.

3/4 + 7/10

The LCM of 4 and 10 is 20.

3/4 * 5 = 15/20

7/10 * 2 = 14/20

15/20 + 14/20 = 29/20 = 1 9/20

2. 1/3 + 1/4

The LCM of 3 and 4 is 12

1/3 * 4 = 4/12

1/4 * 3 = 3/12

4/12 + 3/12 = 7/12

4. Sharon spent 2/3 of her clothing allowance; she was given $75. All we have to do is find 2/3 of $25 :

2/3 * $75 = $50.00

Kayla is going to tile a 6 foot by 9 foot rectangular section of her bathroom wall with square tiles that measure 3 inches tall
Shkiper50 [21]

Answer: 864 tiles

Step-by-step explanation:

Rather than calculating the whole area of bathroom and area of one tile, It is quicker and easier to determine how many rows of tiles that will be needed.

Note that 1 feet = 12 inches

Each tile measures 3 inches on each side.

Length: 9 feet = 9 × 12 = 108 inches

Therefore, 108/3 = 36 tiles will fit along the length.

Width: 6 feet = 6 × 12 = 72 inches. Therefore, 72/3 = 24 tiles will fit along the width.

So, (36 × 24) = 864 tiles will be needed.
