Cars are either race-car fast, slightly fast, or normal. It turns out that 10% of all cars are race-car fast, 40% are sligh

tly fast, and 5% are normal. Of those that are race-car fast 70% are red, as are 45% of those that are slightly fast, and 30% of those that are normal. what is the probability that a randomly selected car is red given that it is normal?

Answer:

Probability = 37.5%

Step-by-step explanation:

Prob (Race fast) = 10%, Prob (Slight Fast) = 40%, Prob (Normal Car) = 50%

Prob (Red Car) = 70% of race fast cars, & 45% of slight fast cars, & 30% of Normal cars, & = (70% x 10%) + (45% x 40%) + (30% x 50%) = 7% + 18% + 15% = 40%

Prob (Normal & Red Car) = 30% of 50%  = 15%

Prob (Red car I Normal car) = Prob (Red & Normal Car I Normal Car) =  15% / 40% = 37.5%

B: (0, a)

C should have the same y value as B

D: (a,0)

C should have the same x value as D

So point C is (a,a)

Since point A is on the origin, its point is (0,0)

You use the slope formula and plug in point A and C:

m=\frac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}}

m=\frac{a-0}{a-0}

m=\frac{a}{a}

m = 1

So the value that belongs in the green box is 1

The actual volumes of soda in quart-sized bottles can be described by a Normal model with a mean of 32.3 fluid ounces and a stan
VLD [36.1K]

Answer:The percentage of bottles expected to have a volume less than 32 or is 40.13%

Step-by-step explanation: The volumes of soda in quart soda bottles can be represented by a Nomal model with a= 32.3 oz

b=1.2 oz

Let S be the volume of randomly selected soda bottles

Y-score: S-a/b

For S=32 oz

Substitute the values of S,a and b into the equation

Y=32-32.3/1.2

Y=-0.25

Probability of bottles that have a volume less than 32 oz is

P(S<32)=P(Y<-025)= 0.40129

Percentage of bottles that have volume less than 32 oz will be

0.40127×100%=40.13%

What is the area of polygon LMN? <br><br> A. 50<br> B. 60<br> C. 65<br> D. 70<br> E.80
Verdich [7]

Answer:

c:65

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of a triangle can be found almost the same way as a sqaure L*W (Length times width). Except the area of a triangle is one half that of a square, so it is \frac{1}{2}L*W. The length is 13 and the width is 10, so 13*10=130, than 1/2 that is 65.
