Estos tres conceptos realmente cambiaron la manera de pensar de la humanidad porque permitieron el uso de la mente, de la lógica, de la razón, para comprender los fenómenos naturales que anteriormente sólo eran explicados bajo las reglas de la iglesia.

Recordemos que durante la Edad Media, la iglesia católica ejerció una influencia impresionante sobre las personas en todo Europa. El poder de los Papas eran prácticamente igual al de los Reyes, y las monarquías tenían que negocias con la iglesia para mantener el control y el poder de sus Estados.

Así que cuando llega el Renacimiento, la Era de la iluminación y el descubrimiento científico, el humano deja atrás esas creencias dogmáticas religiosas y comienza a investigar y experimentar por sí mismo.

Galileo, Copérnico, Isaac Newton realizaron descubrimientos importantes que representaron avances para la humanidad.

De igual manera en materia política y económica, brillantes pensadores como Varón de Montesquieu, Voltaire, Juan Jacobo Roseau, y John Locke, crearon conceptos como la división de poderes en el gobierno federal, el contrato social, y la importancia de los derechos ciudadanos.
