I got 22 because if u do 20 multiplied by 10% that gives u 2 which u then add onto the 20 to get the starting price. 10% of 22 is 2 and then 22-2 = 20 (if u we’re doing it from the starting price)

Can someone help its algebra?

Answer:

see explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

The perimeter is the sum of the 3 sides of the triangle , that is

3x + 2x + 6 + 6x - 3 ( simplify by collecting like terms )

= 11x + 3

Given the perimeter = 36 units , then

11x + 3 = 36 ( subtract 3 from both sides )

11x = 33 ( divide both sides by 11 )

x = 3

Then

base = 2x + 6 = 2(3) + 6 = 6 + 6 = 12 units

height = 3x = 3(3) = 9 units

hypotenuse = 6x - 3 = 6(3) - 3 = 18 - 3 = 15 units

Let f(x) = - 13x + 12 and g(x)= x² + 2.--Find f(3)/g(3).f(3)/g(3) = (?)(Type an integer or a simplified fraction.)
mel-nik [20]

We have the next two equations:

f(x)=-13x+12

And

g(x)=x^2+2

We need to find f(3)/g(3)

First, let's find f(3):

f(3)\text{ = -13(3)+12 = -27}

Then g(3):

g(3)=(3)^2+2\text{ = 11}

Now, the equation f(3)/g(3) :

\frac{f(3)}{g(3)}=\frac{-27}{11}

-27/11 is the result.

What is the midpoint of the line segment with endpoints (–1, 7) and (3, –3)?
Kipish [7]
The coordinates consist of x coordinate and y coordinate
(x₁,y₁) = (-1,7)
(x₂,y₂) = (3,-3)

To find the midpoint of x coordinate, use this following formula
x midpoint = (x₁ + x₂)/2
x midpoint = (-1 + 3) / 2
x midpoint = 2/2
x midpoint = 1

To find the midpoint of y coordinate, use this following formula
y midpoint = (y₁ + y₂)/2
y midpoint = (7 + (-3))/2
y midpoint = (7 - 3)/2
y midpoint = 4/2
y midpoint = 2

The midpoint is (1,2)

Find the value of z.
AVprozaik [17]

Answer:

 z = 110°

Step-by-step explanation:

Angles z and the one marked 70° form an linear pair, hence are supplementary.

 z = 180° -70° = 110°

Angles where chords cross

The angle made by two chords is half the sum of the arcs intercepted by those chords. Here, that means ...

 70° = 1/2(60° +x) ⇒ x = 140° -60° = 80°

The arc w completes the circle of 360°, so we have ...

 w +x +79° +60° = 360° ⇒ w = 360° -219° = 141°

Finally, z is the average of w and 79°:

 z = (w +79°)/2 = (141° +79°)/2 = 110° . . . as above
