The two main "theaters" of WWII are the European and Pacific theaters.
European theater:
1939-1941: Germany Italy and USSR versus Poland France Britain
1941-1945: Germany Italy versus Britain France USSR and the US
destruction: Jewish culture and artwork, along with major French artworks

Pacific theater:
1941-1945: USA and China V. Japan
destruction: Huge Chinese cities and two Japanese cities

At the end of World War II, huge swaths of Europe and Asia had been reduced to ruins.  <span>Borders were redrawn and homecomings, expulsions, and burials were under way. </span>

The British troops marched to lexington and concord to get battle supplies and that is where the first event of the war happened. A famous gun shot was shot out, but nobody knows who did it. The events mark the start of the revolution becuase it was the first battle of the revolution.
