Evolution has led this insect phyllium giganteum to appear like a leaf according to Lamarck's theory because this insect lives and feed on the leaf environment so in order to save itself from other predators it takes the shape and structure of leave in order to hide itself so this adaptation slowly transmitted from the parents to the offspring and as a result evolution occurs.
