What’s the slope plz answer
Afina-wow [57]

The slope is -2.

(Please comment if you want explanation)

Ok, My answer is marked wrong and I don't know why. Ok, kindakait asked for the slope of the line in the graph.

To find the slope of the line is \frac{∆y}{∆x} \\ or so they call \frac{rise}{run} \\.

We can clearly see that to be at (-2,1) from (-4,5). You have to rise by <u>-</u><u>4</u> units and run by <u>2</u> units. Therefor:

m = \frac{rise}{run} \\ m = \frac{-4}{2} \\ m = -2.

If you are not satisfied yet. Let's try another points. (0,-3) and (1,-5) and this is obvious by just eyeballing it.

m = \frac{rise}{run} \\ m = \frac{-2}{1} \\ m = -2.

A salesperson had the following sales: $15.50, $18.98, s16.8, $14, $18.50, and $22. What was the average sale?
Jlenok [28]

Answer:

$ 17.63

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

The sales of the salesperson are,

$15.50, $18.98, $16.8, $14, $18.50, and $22,

Sum of sales = 15.50 + 18.98 + 16.8 + 14  + 18.50 + 22 = 105.78

Also, the number of sales = 6,

Thus, the average sale = \frac{\text{Sum of sales}}{\text{Number of sales}}

=\frac{105.78}{6}

= $ 17.63
