The ancient Roman government formed a republic after the removal of kingship or monarchy rule. This republic then led to the establishment of a different form of government that places more freedom on the people than when they were under a king.
In this republic form of government, the power or authority was divided into three branches. These three branches, namely the executive, legislature, and the judiciary, are assigned different powers. And most important, these members of the branches were elected by the citizens, thereby paving way for representation.
The Declaration of Independence was written so that those who couldn't get formal schooling could read and understand what it was saying.It was written for the average person of that time to be able to comprehend.
