  • The MAP3 program stands for Metropolitan Area Project. It is a a capital improvement program that was initiated by the Mayor of Oklahoma City, Mick Cornett. This program is a uses 1 cent, limited term sales tax to service debt free projects which are intended to improve the quality of life within the city of Oklahoma. Cornett's major goal on embarking on this project was to encourage physical fitness and healthy living among Oklahomans and get people to lose weight.

Ultimately,
