Remember what you learned about diffusion in PBS or another science class. Use the principles of diffusion to explain why oxygen
Musya8 [376]
Difussion occurs from a high concentrated region to a low concentrated region. The velocity of diffussion is proportional to the differential of concentrations. In the lung arrives blood with low levels of oxygen while the long is rich with fresh oxygen so the oxygen flows from the lung tissues to the blood.

The other tissues consume oxygen continually them they get poor in oxygen and so the oxygen that is in the blood diffuses to the tissue that is poor in oxygen.

which region of the brain plays a critical role in integrating information and sending appropriate signals to autonomic centers
just olya [345]

The brain region that plays a key role in integrating information and sending appropriate signals to autonomic centers is the amygdala. The amygdala receives sensory information from multiple pathways.

The amygdala, also known as the 'fear center' is located in the medial temporal lobe.

The amygdala receives sensory information from subcortical and cortical processing pathways, which is associated with the threat, and then orchestrates reactions by controlling the autonomic center.

The amygdala is involved in the perception of different emotions (e.g., anger, fear, sadness, etc).
