Answer:

$3.30

Step-by-step explanation:

6×0.47=2.82 (money spent on soup)

2.82+3.88=6.70 (total money spent on soup and milk)

10.00-6.70=3.30 (money she has left after buying soup and milk)

Employees at a clothing store recieve 20% discounts on what they purchase at that store. How much will an employer save on a $45
mamaluj [8]
Easiest way to work it out is to divide by ten, that gives 10% of your original number. Multiply that by two to get 20% and minus that from the original number to get the discount.
450/10 = 45 which is 10% of 450.
20% of 450= 10% x 2 or 45 x 2
therefor 20% of 450 is 90.
450-90 = the discount the shoppers recieve.

Order 0.5, -1/7, -0.2, and 1/3 from least to greatest.
sladkih [1.3K]

Hey there! I'm happy to help!

Let's convert the decimals to fraction form.

0.5=5/10=1/2

-1/7

-0.2= -2/10= -1/5

1/3

We know that the bigger the number in the denominator, the smaller the fraction is if the numerators are all the same.

First off, we have the negative numbers which are smaller than the other numbers. We have -1/7 and -1/5. We know that the 1/5 is a bigger fraction, but it is negatively bigger, so that is going to be the lesser number.

-1/5, -1/7

And with our bigger ones, we have 1/3 and 1/2. 1/2 is the bigger number here, so that will be the last one. Let's also be sure to convert back to our original forms! Here is our order :

-0.2, -1/7, 1/3, 0.5

Have a wonderful day and keep on learning! :D

Can you help plz!!!!
Zolol [24]
Okay so the table represents B, in one hour of work, the person will make 18.25 (you get this by dividing 36.50 by two because that is how much they made in two hours, we need to know how much they make in one)
Therefore, the equation for A, which has to be less than B, would be either be Y=18x or Y=18.1x
