Answer: y=-1/2x+11/2

Step-by-step explanation:

equation of line is y=mx+b

m=y2-y1/x2-x1

m=2-9/7-(-7)

m=-7/14

m=-1/2

y=-1/2x+b

You can use either (x,y) point you want, the answer will be the same

(-7,9)

y=mx+b or 9=-1/2 × -7+b, or solving for b: b=9-(-1/2)(-7). b=11/2.

(7,2)

y=mx+b or 2=-1/2 × 7+b, or solving for b: b=2-(-1/2)(7). b=11/2.

so then you just put it all together

y=-1/2x+11/2
