Explanation:

The presence of thorn stems, invasive nature and strong scent of of multi rose plant are the specialized structures found in multiflora rose support its reproduction and spreading and dispersal throughout ecosystems in the United States. The presence of thorn stems prevent animals to feed on the multi rose plant while on the other hand, strong scent of of multi rose flower attract pollinators that increase its pollination and increase occur in its population.

The set of instructions for each characteristic donated by the parent of the offspring is called
Rashid [163]

Instructions from characteristics which are passed from the parent to the offspring are called genes. Genes are made of complex molecules of DNA. Each parent also donates chromosomes to their offspring. Each offspring will get half of their genes from each parent and they will therefore have the aspect of the two parents.

Why are tortoiseshell cats female? Why are tortoiseshell cats female?
Neko [114]

Answer:

All tortoiseshell and tortoiseshell and white (Calico) cats are female. But not all gingers are male, though most are. The reason is that in cats the colour gene is carried on the X chromosome. As females have two Xs they can express two colours in the coat, and if black is inherited from one parent and ginger (red) from the other, the result is a calico cat. The calico's brother, having only one X chromosome, would be either ginger or black, depending on the colour of the mother. I believe there was a case of an apparently male calico cat but it was found to have a mutation giving an XXY chromosome set-up, and was sterile. For a female to be ginger she would have to inherit red from both parents. This could happen if the father was ginger and the mother tortoiseshell for example. The white is inherited on a separate gene and is independent of the colour gene. It can appear on either gender and with any colour of coat. For some reason not understood it is usually found that in tortoiseshell and white cats the patches of black and ginger are larger and more distinct than in the plain tortoiseshell without white. A tabby pattern of stripes can also be inherited separately, resulting in a cat known as a "torby" (Tabby-tortoiseshell).

Why is ATP important in the metabolism or organisms? a. It hydolyzes to add free energy to exergonic reactions. b.The terminal p
Tems11 [23]

Answer:

ATP provides energy coupling between exergonic and endergonic reactions.

Explanation:

  • Adenosine triphosphate is an important molecule found in the cells and its role is to transport energy that is necessary for the cell or metabolic activities. These activities include muscle contraction and nerve impulse propagation.
  • The ATP provides energy to both the energy consumption actions and energy-releasing reactions and thus needs a small amount of input of energy. The chemical bonds on breaking provide energy for cells to work.
