No this prediction never NEVER makes sense because there’s no such a thing as negative number of owls. Owl is not something, this is animals. Negative for owls mean dead GONE. But if it positive 38 it makes sense means on how many owl are there

THIS PREDICTION DOESN’T NOT MAKES SENCE.

No that answer does not make sense because you can't have -38 owls. Understand? Message me if you don't. :)

99 points. What is the slope-intercept form of the function described by this table?
adelina 88 [10]

Answer:

y = 5x+3

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the slope, we need to points

(1,8) and (2,13)

Slope is given by

m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

  = (13-8)/(2-1)

  = 5/1

The slope is 5

We can use the point slope form for an equation

y-y1 = m(x-x1)

y-8 = 5(x-1)

Distribute the 5

y-8 = 5x-5

Add 8 to each side

y-8+8 = 5x-5+8

y = 5x+3

This is in slope intercept form

How can you find a trigonometric function of an acute angle 0 ?
Shkiper50 [21]
The characteristics of similar triangles, originally formulated by Euclid, are the building blocks of trigonometry. Euclid's theorems state if two angles of one triangle have the same measure as two angles of another triangle, then the two triangles are similar. Also, in similar triangles, angle measure and ratios of corresponding sides are preserved. Because all right triangles contain a 90° angle, all right triangles that contain another angle of equal measure must be similar. Therefore, the ratio of the corresponding sides of these triangles must be equal in value. These relationships lead to the trigonometric ratios. Lowercase Greek letters are usually used to name angle measures. It doesn't matter which letter is used, but two that are used quite often are alpha (α) and theta (θ).
