There are similarities among all Nurse Practitioners, it is also worthy to note that Nurse Practitioner are divided into different specialties and a couple of them includes: primary care, pediatrics, geriatrics, oncology and psychiatric care. 3, No it did not because the major difference of an Advanced Practice Nurse is the post graduate educational qualification possessed. I believe with proper self training and on the job learning, a diligent nurse can assume the same position..
