54 tickets on parents

I dont know about everyone but I solved and got 90.
Remember each ticket costs 2.50, then the school used $225. So what I did is I divide 225 to 2.50 which gets 90 and that’s how many tickets were sold to parents. How I checked my answer, I times $2.50 for 90 tickets, which still equals to $225 so yeah that’s it...

The nth term of a sequence is 3n + 2
gavmur [86]

Answer:

see explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

To calculate the first 3 terms substitute n = 1, 2, 3 into the n th term rule

a_{1} = (3 × 1) + 2 = 3 + 2 = 5

a_{2} = (3 × 2) + 2 = 6 + 2 = 8

a_{3} = (3 × 3) + 2 = 9 + 2 = 11

------------------------------------------------------------------

substitute n = 10 into the n th term rule

a_{10} = (3 × 10) + 2 = 30 + 2 = 32
