Answer:

Conscientiousness

Explanation:

The Five-Factor Model of personality is a model of the structure of personality according to which human personality can be described using five broad dimensions: Extraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Neuroticism, and Openness.

The main characteristics of the dimensions are:

 • Extraversion: Outgoing, socially confident behavior. Extroverts are sociable, talkative and enjoy being the center of attention. Introverts are more quiet and prefer to be on their own.
 • Agreeableness: Individuals who score highly on agreeableness are friendly and co-operative, they are trusting of others and are more altruistic and sympathetic. People who score low on this dimension are less concerned with pleasing other people or making friends, they tend to be more suspicious and are less charitable, they are also competitive and stubborn.
 • Conscientiousness: People who are conscientious are more aware of their actions and the consequences of their behavior than people who are unconscientious. They feel a sense of responsibility towards other people and are careful with their duties, they will be concerned about tidiness, punctuality and hard work. People who score low on this dimension are less careful and are less concerned about tidiness and punctuality.
 • Neuroticism: People with high neuroticism are persistent worriers. They are fearful and often feel anxious, over-thinking their problems focusing on the negative aspects of them. They tend to become frustrated and angry if things don't go as they wish. People who score low are less preoccupied and are able to remain more calm under stressful situations.
 • Openness: Willingness to try new activities. People with higher levels of openness enjoy artistic and cultural experiences and are more open to unfamiliar cultures and customs, they are imaginative. People with low levels of openness are wary of uncertainty and the unknown and feel uncomfortable in unfamiliar situations and prefer familiar environments.

People who score high on conscientiousness will have a sense of responsibility with others and therefore will be careful with their duties, making them hardworking and organized. Since they care about other people too much they might tend to be dependable. Therefore, when studying personality traits, someone who is hardworking, dependable, and organized will score high on the conscientiousness trait.

What advice would you give to your friend who has been suffering from domestic violence??
omeli [17]

Answer:

Explanation:

If you would like to support a friend or family member experiencing domestic violence then follow the following tips:

1) Listen: Find a quiet place where you can talk safely and listen to her. This is one of the most important things you can do. Remember that they are confiding a secret matter in you.

2) Believe: Do not deny the abuse and do not judge them. Show your support no matter what they decide to do about their relationship.

3) Respect them: Show honour your friend that you respect her capability to handle this situation

4) Respect their feelings: In cases of domestic violence, victims need their feelings validated. To ignore the abuse and sweep it under the rug is wrong is a crime.

5) Do not advise: You should not advise, especially when your friend confides her grief first to you. The best thing to do is to help your friend reach their own decisions about what to do and when to do it. Help them identify their own options and consequences which might follow.

6) Tell them they are innocence: This is important because blame is how the abuser often justifies the abuse. Let her know that no one has the right to abuse another. Tell her about your knowledge you have learned about spousal violence and cycle of violence.

7) Discuss Safety: Talk to your friend about shelters and other safe places. Inform her about NGOS’ who provide free legal advise to such cases. Discuss how to obtain their services.

8) Encourage them to seek help: Accompany them if they need your help. Provide support to places like shelters, legal aid, etc.

9) Do NOT speak to the partner: This is a big no-no and can worsen the situation.

10) Keep in contact with them: One of the things abusers do is isolate the victim from family and friends. Keep in contact with your friend as much as possible, by phone or e-mail at least, to ensure that she has a link with the outside world.

Answer:

Explanation:

Zone of Proximal Development or ZPD is a concept developed by Vygotsky. It means the distance between what a person can do alone and what he can do with the help of or guidance from a skilled person.

ZPD has two limits. A lower limit, which is the things that are difficult but possible for a person to learn alone, and an upper limit i.e. the things that a person cannot learn, even with assistance from an adult.

Here, Johnny cannot learn algebra even with an expert, so learning algebra is in the upper limit.
