Zinc density = 7.10 = 46.77/x ==> x = 46.77/7.10 =6.6 cm3 or 6.6 ml
New water level = 33.33+ 6.6 = 39.93 ml

Answer:

D. 1.0 x 10-8.43

Explanation:

The pH is an unit of concentration in chemistry used to determine the acidity -or basicity- of a particular solution. Is used in quality control to determine the security of a product for consumers.

The equation is:

pH = -log [H₃O⁺]

As pH = 8.43:

8.43 = -log [H₃O⁺]

10^-8.43 = [H₃O⁺]

1.0x10 -8.43 = [H₃O⁺]

Right option is:

<h3>D. 1.0 x 10-8.43 </h3>

Iron oxide and hydrogen react to form iron and water in the following chemical equation:
just olya [345]

Answer:

The answer to your question is 245.9 g of Fe₂O₃

Explanation:

Data

grams of Fe₂O₃ = ?

grams of Fe = 172 g

Balanced chemical reaction

                Fe₂O₃  +  3H₂   ⇒   2Fe  +  3H₂O

Process

1.- Calculate the molar mass of of Iron Oxide and Iron

Fe₂O₃ = (2 x 56) + (3 x 16) = 112 + 48 = 160 g

2Fe = 2 x 56 = 112 g

2.- Use proportions and cross multiplication to solve this problem

                  160 g of Fe₂O₃ --------------- 112 g of Fe

                      x                   ---------------- 172 g of Fe

                      x = (172 x 160)/112

                      x = 27520/112

                     x = 245.9 g of Fe₂O₃

How many sulfur atoms are there in 21.0 g of al2s3?
ValentinkaMS [17]

Given the mass of aluminum sulfideAl_{2}S_{3} = 21.0 g

Molar mass of Al_{2}S_{3} = 2 * Molar mass of Al + 3 *molar mass of S = 2(27g/mol)+3(32.g/mol)=150.g/mol

Calculating the moles of Al_{2}S_{3}:

21.0 g *\frac{1 mol}{150 g} = 0.14 mol Al_{2}S_{3}

Each mole Al_{2}S_{3} has 3 mol S.

Each mole S constitutes 6.022*10^{23} atoms of S

Calculating atoms of S in 0.14 mol Al_{2}S_{3}:

0.14 mol Al_{2}S_{3} *\frac{3mol S}{1 mol Al_{2}S_{3}  }*\frac{6.022*10^{23}atoms S }{1 mol S}

= 2.53 * 10^{23} atoms of S

How many moles of MgCl2 are there in 319 g of the compound?
Leokris [45]

Hey there!:

Molar mass MgCl2 = 95.2110 g/mol

So:

1 mole MgCl2 -------------- 95.2110 g

moles MgCl2 ---------------- 319 g

moles MgCl2 = 319 * 1 / 95.2110

moles MgCl2 = 319 / 95.2110

=> 3.350 moles of MgCl2

Hope that helps!
