Hello there
We can say that,
The length = 3u
The width= 1u
3u + 1u +3u +1u= 44cm
8u= 44cm
1u= 44cm / 8
    = 5.5cm
Length= 5.5 cm x 3
           =16.5 cm
Width= 5.5 cm

Hope this helps :))

uranmaximum [27]

Answer:

a = 6

Step-by-step explanation:

Area = 36 in^{2}

Only one number will make this missing length true.

Obviously it's a square so one number x one number will equal to 36 in^{2}

6 x 6 = 36 in^{2}

The first quartile of a data set is 18, the median is 25, the third quartile is 28,
laila [671]
The outlier would be shown as a dot so the answer is B. 45
The interquartile range is 28 - 18 = 10
A simple rule is that points more than 1.5xIRQ above or below the medians is an outlier and is shown as a point.
28 + 1.5x10 = 43. 45 is above this value.

a force of 2 pounds is needed to stretch a spring 8 inches.what force is required to stretch the spring 16 inches
Korvikt [17]

Answer:

Four (4) pounds

Step-by-step explanation:

Because we required two (2) pounds to stretch the spring eight (8) inches, we need double the force to stretch it sixteen (16) inches. Sixteen is just double the original amount, meaning we need four (4) pounds to stretch the spring sixteen inches.

Hope this helps!

How do you use equivalent fractions to compare the fractions in each pair
Alenkasestr [34]
Firstly you need to to reduce to a common denominator by multiplYing the whole fraction. This way you have to multiply 4/5 by 2 (both numerator and denominator). so 4/5 = 8/10. And now you have 8/10 and 9/10. You compare only numerators. This way you have 8/10 <9/10. Same goes for 2/3 and 5/8. Only here you need to multiply both fractions. The common denominator here is 24. So you have to multiply 2/3 by 8 and 5/8 by 3. You now have to compare 16/24 and 15/24. 16/24>15/24.
