Hello there
We can say that,
The length = 3u
The width= 1u
3u + 1u +3u +1u= 44cm
8u= 44cm
1u= 44cm / 8
    = 5.5cm
Length= 5.5 cm x 3
           =16.5 cm
Width= 5.5 cm

Hope this helps :))

First find f+g, f-g, f-g and f\g. Then determine the domain for each function f(x)=3×+7,g(×)=×+9 (f+g)(×)=
Lemur [1.5K]
I'll do f+g, you try the others on your own and comment if you need help with them! For f+g, you're just going to add the two functions together:
f(x)=3x+7
g(x)=x+9
(f+g)(x)=(3x+7)+(x+9)=4x+16

marin [14]
What is the probaility that a voter chooses a liberal in state B?

Let us see the total amount of voters in state B. This is equal to 35 according to the graph. Out of them, 20 voted for the liberal candidate. If we randomly pick a person in state B, chances are hence 20/35 that he votes for the liberal candidate. Probability is defined as the ratio of positive outcomes over all possible outcomes. Here, a positive outcome is voting for the liberal candidate and all outcomes are the voters of state B. 20/35 is equal to 5/7 or around 71%.
