Type the correct answer in the box. Round your answer to the nearest whole number. The population in the United States in 2000 w
vampirchik [111]

We will use the percentage difference formula and so:

\frac{|Population_{final}-Population_{initial}|}{Population_{initial}}

By plugging in our values we obtain:

\frac{321-281}{281}=0.142349

And 0.142349 converted to percentage is :

0.142349 \times 100 = 14.2349%

Therefore, there was a population increase of 14.2349% from 2000 to 2015 in the US.

Which type of energy is water held back by a dam?
stepladder [879]

Answer:    hydroelectric dams

Explanation: Enormous energy is stored in water held back by hydroelectric dams. The energy is transformed into (a form of kinetic energy) as it falls across the dam. The falling water strikes the blades of a turbine and makes them spin, and the then turns the shaft of a generator.

A young woman named kathy kool buys a sports car that can accelerate at the rate of 5.37 m/s 2 . she decides to test the car by
ohaa [14]

As the stan moves 0.94 s before with an acceleration 4.12 m/s^2

so the distance moved by it

d = \frac{1}{2}at^2[tex]d = \frac{1}{2}*4.12*0.94^2

d = 1.82 m

speed gained by the car is given as

v = v_i + at

v = 4.12* 0.94 = 3.873 m/s

now the relative speed of them is given as

v_r = 3.873 - 0 = 3.873 m/s

relative acceleration is given as

a_r = 4.12 - 5.37 = -1.25

now the distance between them is to be covered

d = v_r * t + \frac{1}{2}a_r * t^2

1.82 = -3.873* t + \frac{1}{2}*1.25 * t^2

by solving above equation we have

t = 6.64 s

so it will overtake after 6.64 s

Which of the following would you be most likely to find in the observations
Nimfa-mama [501]

Answer:

B. Value you have recorded during your experiment.

Explanation:

In the observation section, those data is present which is collected during an experiment. Measurement of each key should be reported carefully. Data is usually present in the form of table, graph and figures.

This data can be represented in the tabular form because it is the best method to represent any data.

Therefore, in the observation section of lab report observer usually find the values which are recorded during an experiment.
