Beef to pork.....ratio 3:1....added = 4.....this is basically saying that 3/4 of the total meat is beef and 1/4 of the total meat is pork...and the total meat is 3 lbs.

3/4(3) = 9/4 = 2 1/4 lbs of beef
1/4(3) = 3/4 lbs of pork <===

When you roll two number cubes, what are the odds, in simplest form, in favor of getting two numbers less than 4? A. 1:3 B. 3:1
AfilCa [17]

Answer:

1:4; C

Step-by-step explanation:

If you roll two cubes, they have 6 sides meaning 6 is the highest number. That's 2 more then 4 so I will subtract to two from each which makes it certain I will roll two dice less then 4. Removing two from each is 4 ergo the answer is 1:4
