republican is usually in the south (texas, mississippi, alabama) and middle of the U.S. (nebraska, kansas, oklahoma). democratic party is usually the two coasts like california, arizona, nevada, oregon (west coast) and massachussetts, maine, rhode island, new york (east coast).
