Answer:

30 is the perimeter i think 2 x 5 = 10 + 2 x 4.5 = 10 x 2 = 20 so 20 + 10 = 30

I think the area is 45, 5 x 4.5 = 22.5 and 2 x 22.5 = 45

Probability of landing on even # on a spinner; probability of rolling an odd # on a die
KonstantinChe [14]

Answer:

Spinner: 50%

Die: 50%

Step-by-step explanation:

Well for the spinner it depends on the amount of numbers it has,

in this case we’ll use 6.

So The probability of landing on the even numbers in a 6 numbered spinner.

2, 4, 6

3/6

50%

Your average die has 6 sides so the odd numbers are,

1, 3, 5

3/6

50%

What is the vertex of the graph y = x^2 + 6x - 5 ?
Dafna11 [192]
Given: y = x^2 + 6x - 5. Then a = 1, b = 6 and c = -5.

The x-coord. of the vertex is given by x = -b / (2a), which here is x = -6 / (2*1) = -3.

Use the given formula y = x^2 + 6x - 5 to find the value of y when x = -3:

y = (-3)^2 + 6(-3) - 5 = 9 - 18 - 5 = -14

Then the vertex is (-3, -14).

Bruno will spin the arrow on the spinner 2 times. what is the probability that the arrow will stop on c at least once? 19 29 13
DIA [1.3K]

The probability that the spinner will land on c at least once is 5/9

How to determine the probability?

From the complete question, the probability that the spinner will not land on c when spun twice is:

P = 4/9

Using the complement rule, the probability that the spinner will land on c at least once is:

P' = 1 - P

This gives

P' = 1 - 4/9

Evaluate

P' = 5/9

Hence, the probability that the spinner will land on c at least once is 5/9
