The structure of DNA consists of three main molecules-

1. Nucleotides

2. Sugar

3. Phosphate

Now, nucleotides are present on the inner side of the DNA strand, the sides or the backbone of DNA is made of the other two molecules, i.e. sugar and phosphate. The structure looks like the image shared below. One carbon atom of the sugar molecule is connected to nucleotide, and two carbons are connected to phosphates at two sides. This way a chain or the backbone of DNA is formed.

________ are the central nervous system cells that provide structural support, promote efficient communication between neurons,
Vlad [161]

Answer:

The correct answer to fill in the blank is: glial cells.

Explanation:

Glial cells are the other type of cells aside from neurons that are present in the nervous system.

Glial cells are present both in the Central Nervous System and the Peripheral Nervous System, but in each of these anatomical divisions, the glial cells differ. For example, in the Central Nervous System there are oligodendrocytes (form myelin), astrocytes (provides nutrition for the neurons, maintains the ionic balance, repairs the tissue after damage, and forms the blood-brain barrier), ependymal cells (produces cerebrospinal fluid), and microglia (a specialized macrophage); while in the Peripheral Nervous System there are only Schwann cells (form myelin) and satellite cells (provide nutrients for the neurons).

Fig reproduction and fig wasps are a common example used.

However, you're looking for two organisms so predator and prey. This could be Coyote and Deer, Lion and Gazelle... You name it.

1. All living things are composed of cells.

2. Cells are the basic units of structure and function for living things.

3. All cells come from pre-existing cells. Also, organisms grow by “adding on more cells” NOT by increasing the size of their cells.
