Answer: It has to be 22.5

Step-by-step explanation: Since this is a quiz, I won't tell you how to solve it, i'll give you some clues. But with what I know is; you have to  find the (Q1) and (Q3) Then see what the difference is between  the quartiles, and that should be your answer.

Write the equation of the circle with center (3, 2) and (−6, −4) a point on the circle.
yulyashka [42]
The equation for a circle is as followed:

(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2

where the center of the circle is at (h,k) and the radius of the circle is r.

We are given (h,k) and need to find the radius. To do so, we can use the distance formula to find the distance from the  center to the point on the circle:

d= \sqrt{(x_1-x_2)^2+(y_1-y_2)^2}

Plug in the two points:

d= \sqrt{(3-(-6))^2+(2-(-4))^2}

d= \sqrt{(9)^2+(6)^2}

d= \sqrt{117}

If the distance from the center to the edge of the circle is the square root of 117, then r^2 = 117.

The answer is:

(x-3)^2+(y-2)^2=117

Drey makes $10 an hour plus $15 an hour for every hour of overtime. Overtime hours are any hours more than 40 hours for the week
alekssr [168]

Drey makes $10 an hour plus $15 an hour for every hour of overtime. Overtime hours are any hours more than 40 hours for the week.

Part A: Create an equation that shows the amount of wages earned, W, for working x hours in a week when there is no overtime.

If there is no overtime, the equation is W = 10x.

Part B: Create an equation that shows the amount of wages earned, S, for working y hours of overtime. Hint: Remember to include in the equation the amount earned from working 40 hours.

At $10 per hour for 40 hours, the total is $400.

S = 15y + 400

Part C: Drey earned $490 in 1 week. How many hours (regular plus overtime) did he work?

490 = 15y + 400

490 - 400 = 15y

90 = 15y

90/15 = y

6 = y

Drey worked 46 hours in all.

Shane and Abha earned a team badge that required their team to collect no less than 2000 cans for recycling. Abha collected 178
kompoz [17]

Answer: [911,∞)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: S be the number of cans collected by Shane.

Since,  Abha collected 178 more cans than Shane did.

Then, the number of cans collected by Abha = S+178

Also, Shane and Abha earned a team badge that required their team to collect no less than 2000 cans for recycling.

So, S+178+S\geq2000

\\\Rightarrow\ 2S\geq2000-178\\\Rightarrow2S\geq1822\\\Rightarrow\ S\geq911

Hence, the solution set of the inequality will be [911,∞)
