A jewelry store is selling necklaces and bracelets. Each necklace yields a profit of $8 and each bracelet yields a profit of $6.

It costs $3.50 and 11 minutes to create each necklace and $2.50 and 5 minutes to create each bracelet. The store has 880 available minutes and $330 available for production. The owner also estimates that the total demand will not exceed 120 units.

3 0

n = necklace

b = bracelet

n +b =120

n = 120-b

3.50n + 2.50b = 330

11n + 5b = 880

3.5(120-b) +2.5b=330

420-3.5b + 2.5b = 330

420 -b = 330

-b = -90

B =90

N = 30

3.5*30= 105

2.5*90 = 225

225 +105 = 330

11*30 = 330

90*5 = 450

450 +330 = 780

90 bracelets and 30 necklaces

When we reject the null hypothesis of a partial F-test, then we conclude that A. at least one of the eliminated variables is sig
Evgesh-ka [11]

Answer:

C. the eliminated variables are jointly not significant. Therefore we should use the reduced model.

Step-by-step explanation:

If the partial F test shows that a group of variables is<em> significant</em>, it does <em>not</em> imply that <em>each variable</em> in this group is significant. Some of these variables can have low t -values (and consequently, large P -values).

Soledad has a storage box. The box is 6 1/2 inches long, 4 3/4 inches wide and 7 inches tall. She wants to run a border around t
yawa3891 [41]

Answer:

She need 10.5 inches border

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of box =\frac{1}{2} inches

Breadth of box =4\frac{3}{4} inches

Breadth of box =\frac{19}{4} inches

Height of box = 7 inches

Now we are given that Soledad wants to run a border around the top of the box.

So, Length of top = Perimeter = 2(l+b)=2(\frac{1}{2}+\frac{19}{4})=10.5

Hence She need 10.5 inches border
