Y = 11.5x + 22
y = -13x + 218

when will their balance be the same.....ur basically just subbing in 1 y for the other and u get :
11.5x + 22 = -13x + 218....now we solve for x
11.5x + 13x = 218 - 22
24.5x = 196
x = 196 / 24.5
x = 8 <== they will be the same at 8 weeks

11.5(8) + 22 = 114
-13(8) + 218 = 114
and they will both have $ 114 at 8 weeks <===

A banquet hall is being set up for a reception. Each round table will have 6 chairs and each rectangular table will have 10 chai
olga_2 [115]

Answer:

in picture

Step-by-step explanation:

— Round tables will have 6 chairs, rectangular tables will have 10 chairs, the total number of chairs must be at least 185: 6x +10y ≥ 185

— There be no more than 15 rectangular tables: y ≤ 15

— No fewer than 6 round tables: x ≥ 6

— Rectangular tables must be at least 1/3 the number of round tables: y ≥ (1/3)x ⇒ 3y ≥ x

Find the maximum profit and the number of units that must be produced and sold in order to yield the maximum profit. Assume that
vivado [14]
The Profit = Revenue - CostP ( x ) = ( 40 x - 0.5 x² ) - ( 5 x + 15 ) = = 40 x - 0.5 x² - 5 x - 15 = - 0.5 x² + 35 x - 15The maximum profit is when: P`( x ) = 0P ` ( x ) = ( - 0.5 x² + 35 x - 15 ) ` = - x + 35- x + 35 = 0x = 35 ( the number of units )P max = - 0.5 · 35² + 35 · 35 - 15 = - 612.5 + 1225 - 15 = 597.5Answer: The maximum profit is 597.5 and the number of units is 35.
