Answer:

Perimeter of NCAA court=288 feet

Perimeter of new court=259.2 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that

Length of NCAA court, l=94 feet

Width of NCAA court, b=50 feet

Width of new court, b'=45 feet

We have to find the perimeter of an NCAA court and new court in the school.

Perimeter of NCAA court=2(l+b)

Perimeter of NCAA court=2(94+50)feet

Perimeter of NCAA court=288 feet

When two rectangles are similar then  the ration of their   corresponding sides are equal.

Using the  property

\frac{Perimeter\;of\;NCAA\;court}{Perimeter\;of\;new\;court}=\frac{Width\;of\;NCAA\;court}{Width\;of\;new\;court}

\frac{288}{Perimeter\;of\;new\;court}=\frac{50}{45}

Perimeter of new court=\frac{288\times 45}{50} feet

Perimeter of new court=259.2 feet

Which equation has a graph that is a parabola with a vertex at (–2, 0)?
MaRussiya [10]

Answer:

The vertex of a quadratic equation corresponds to the point where the maximum or minimum value is located.

If the function has a positive leading coefficient, the vertex corresponds to the minimum value.

If it has a negative leading coefficient,  the vertex corresponds to the maximum valuevalue

If the vertex is located at

(–2, 0)

The possibilities are

y =  (x-2)^2

or,

y = - (x-2)^2

Since the problem tells us the answer, we adopt the positive values

Answer:

y =  (x-2)^2

Write an expression for the product of 6 and Q
astra-53 [7]

Answer: 6*Q= 6Q or 6*Q= y

Step-by-step explanation:

The product is the answer to a multiplication problem, therefore 6*Q will be the first part.

The second part will be the answer. Normally, this would be represented just by 6Q, but you can use another letter to represent it. We'll use y for an example.

6*Q= 6Q

or

6*Q= y
