Indeed, polychaetes are sometimes referred to as bristle worms. Bundles of bristles, called *setae, project from the parapodia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Polychaeta_anatomy_en.svg Thats a cross section the terms have been used interchangebly.

The ligation you carried out in Laboratory 3 can result in a number of plasmids, but none of these have been replicated in a bac
Ipatiy [6.2K]

Nicked circle is the reason.

Explanation:

During recombinant DNA technology the gene of interest is ligated to plasmid DNA by excision with molecular scissors or endonuclease enzyme and ligated with enzyme ligase.

Enzyme ligase catalysed by ATP seals the nicks by making phosphodiester bonds in the ds or ss DNA and release of ADP.

The ligation in the plasmid did not occur properly hence the replication is interrupted hence no new plasmids with gene of interest replicated in the ligation carried out.

Why don't we use more renewable energy sources?
Marizza181 [45]

Because sometimes building these facilities is expensive and they usually have to be built in remote areas and burning fossil fuels has also been cheaper than using renewable energy in the past. Another issue is that the form of energy isn't available all the time.
