Explanation:

Logos- persuasion by the use of reasoning. The use of logic to support a claim. (They're trying to convince you to sell them a pen with logic and statistics. So maybe an explanation on how the pen was invented and/or is built can be the perfect logos ad)

Ethos- convincing by the character of the author. ("This celebrity used a pen, so you should buy it too" can be an example of ethos.)

Pathos- persuading by appealing to the reader’s emotions. ("If you dont buy a pen, you wont be able to make a pen pal today!" can be an example of pathos as it is trying to strike your feelings, ones of guilt normally are used for the pathos logo appeal.)

Ethos is about establishing your authority to speak on the subject, logos is your logical argument for your point and pathos is your attempt to sway an audience emotionally.
