History

Music can be used to tell a story in multiple ways, one important way is that music can show tone in ways that normal storytelling simply cannot do, tone is very important when telling a story because it allows the person listening to feel the emotion the story teller feels/felt. Emotions like sadness, anger, or happiness are often common emotions shown in different genres of music, blues can show sadness, heavy metal can show anger, pop music can show happiness. The use of music to tell stories makes the audience more engaged in the story and they get sucked in and they don’t want to stop listening.
