Kinetic energy of a body depends on both mass and velocity. If the mass of an object increases, its kinetic energy also increases and vice versa while on the other hand, if we doubles the speed of an object its kinetic energy increases four times so we can conclude that objects having same speed leads to same kinetic energy.

The upper oesophageal sphincter relaxes and the bolus moves into the esophagus. In the oesophageal phase, the oesophageal sphincter closes when the bolus moves down and peristalsis action takes over to move the food down the oesophagus.
