But the DNA in the woman's eggs is still perfectly normal. So she won't pass on her lung cancer to her kids. This is why cancer is so rarely inherited. Since cancer often happens because of a DNA accident in a cell other than an egg or a sperm, it is not passed down

Is the temperature profile in the thermosphere more like that of the troposphere or the stratosphere?
podryga [215]

The correct answer is: stratosphere.

This is because their temperatures are rising instead of decreasing.

There are 4 primary layers of the atmosphere on Earth:

Troposphere (6-20km), the layer that we live in, where the weather occurs. Only nitrogen and oxygen present.

Stratosphere (20-50 km), where the airplanes fly, contains the ozone layer, which absorbs harmful radiation from the sun.

Mesosphere (50-85 km), the coldest region of Earth’s atmosphere (-100 C), protective layer

Thermosphere (80-690), the hottest (1500 C) and the thickest layer which consists of the ionosphere and the exosphere.

Dr. Graham exposes rats to a vanilla scent prior to receiving a food pellet in the left corner of their cage, but provides no fo
jenyasd209 [6]

Answer:

a. food pellet

Explanation:

In classical conditioning, an unconditioned stimulus is the stimulus that naturally elicits an unconditioned response. The unconditioned stimulus is usually paired with a neutral stimulus, and after pairing with a neutral stimulus, the neutral stimulus becomes a conditioned stimulus that elicits a conditioned response alone.

In the experiment described above in the question, the unconditioned stimulus is the food pellet, which naturally elicits the response of the rat to wait at the far left corner of the cage. The neutral stimulus which is paired with the food pellet is the vanilla scent, which now becomes the conditioned response, when paired alone.

Select the correct answer.
Oduvanchick [21]
The answer is C.

The man’s genotype must be AB. The woman’s genotype can be either BB or BO as both correspond to a blood type (which is a phenotype) of B.

Each parent passes on one allele. The man can contribute A or B and the woman can contribute B or O.

The possible genotype combinations are therefore AB, AO, BB, and BO. These correspond to the phenotypes AB, A, B, and B.
