Is the government doing enough to ensure that human rights are

Social Studies
1 answer:
sp2606 [1]3 years ago

Answer: no

Explanation: if the government didn't protect the peoples rights then the people can throw out the government and replace a new and better one to the peoples liking since its well known in the constitution that the people have the power to do so, like the magna carta where the government (king) at the time abused power and gave cruel and usual punishments. The government cannot go against the people or take there rights (John Locke - the social contract) its also why we have our bill of rights to secure our rights for the government does not violate us and rule of law where nobody is above the law.  The government would only go to great lengths if it was a issue the people suggest they look into, other then that the government does not go to far lengths for there citizens unless they get called out for it.

Why was the domino theory dangerous?thanks
kolezko [41]

Explanation:This article is about the theory involving communist countries. For the Weather Report album, see Domino Theory (album). For the Steve Wariner song, see The Domino Theory.

An illustration of the domino theory as it had been predicted

The domino theory was a theory prominent from the 1950s to the 1980s that posited that if one country in a region came under the influence of communism, then the surrounding countries would follow in a domino effect.[1] The domino theory was used by successive United States administrations during the Cold War to justify the need for American intervention around the world.

U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower described the theory during an April 7, 1954, news conference, when referring to communism in Indochina:

Finally, you have broader considerations that might follow what you would call the "falling domino" principle. You have a row of dominoes set up, you knock over the first one, and what will happen to the last one is the certainty that it will go over very quickly. So you could have a beginning of a disintegration that would have the most profound influences.[2]

Greg and Allen are at bar watching a football game. Over the course of the game, each one drinks three beers. Greg is sweating a
ivanzaharov [21]

Answer:

Greg's and Allen's bodies metabolize the alcohol differently.

Explanation:

As the exercise suggests, the most likely reason for them to have two different reactions to the alcohol is that they metabolize the beer differently. Every individual could have different reactions depending their own context (for example if they ate or not before, if they are tired or stressed or not, etc.) but the most common explanation of this is that Allen drinks beer or alcohol more often than Greg and he developed tolerance to some of it's effects. Therefore, their metabolism works differently.
