Yes I do believe that rebellion is necessary. America’s revolt from Great Britain created a whole new contry wich in turn beat out Britain as far as global superpowers go. Many good situations and ideas came out of rebellion. I do think it is necessary to have them. Without it the world would be static and unchanged and all the people for change will be shut out. Our world as we know it now is here because of all the rebellions and revolutions in our past.

Which belief below is most closely associated with what John Locke asserted about the social contract?
nevsk [136]

Answer:

people agreed to form government and limit that government with a contract

Explanation:

According to John locke, social contract is an agreement that the people in society made in order to maintain order/balance in society. The people agree to give up a certain level of their freedom and give the government with the power to regulate some aspects of their life. But in return, the government need to keep working to improve the quality of life of the people.

The implementation of John Locke's social contract can be seen in modern day democracy, where we let a limited form of government to regulate the citizens' life.

The word 'limited' means that we install barriers of protection to prevent the government from violating crucial human rights that the citizens possess. In United States for example, we can see this in the implementation of BILL of rights.

riadik2000 [5.3K]

Answer:

Dr. Ingram conducted an C. experimental study.

Explanation:

An experimental study is that in which the variables are in direct control of the researcher. He/she is in control of changing or adjusting them in order to reach an outcome.

Dr. Ingram varied the imageability of items on a list to measure the participants' recalling abilities. He is conducting an experimental study.

Let's see why the other options are not valid in this case:

 • A correlational study tries to find correlations between 2 or more variables.
 • In a naturalistic study the researcher observes a certain phenomenon.
 • An observational study just centers on observing, there is no manipulation of variables.
