1)it’s asking you like who’s speaking so the answer would be “Tom odell” and then you would provide evidence from the song that proves its from his POV.

2)pretty much find a couple of lyrics or a line from the song and then explain how it had an emotional impact and then provide that line and evidence. (I hope that made sense)

3)so describe what you see when you hear this for example if it were the song riptide some may think of the ocean or a fun and happy love. Some options for another love could be a sad love and heartbreak or rain (if you watched tvd), for the evidence you’d provide a line from the song that gives you that image.

4)(In an interview he said it was about a relationship of his where he was in a new relationship but couldn’t stop thinking about the past relationship.) and for this you’d find a line where he used figurative language, which would be a line where he used one thing in a place of another thing or something to imply it, such as “another love” or “I wanna learn to love”. An example of the evidence for this would be “I wanna learn to love”could mean that he is still in love with one person and cannot fathom or does not know how to love anything they like he loves this other person.

5)his tone would be describe and sad, mourning, sorrow, lamenting. The evidence for this could be the saddest line or any line that you believe represents this.

6)I don’t know how to answer the insight about life but the theme would be what I said in number 4 about the relationship and not being able to forget his past relationship.

What characteristics make a metaphor powerful and effective?

E
Leto [7]

Answer:

A great metaphor recasts the familiar or mundane as something strikingly different yet truly parallel. It gives a startlingly vivid picture or brings a surprising insight. A bad metaphor fails to achieve the parallel, or the fresh insight, or both. The element of surprise is an important part of a great metaphor.

Q1. What is your response? Explain with Aristotle’s Virtue Ethics in no more than 200 words. You are reminded to clearly state t
kirza4 [7]

Answer and Explanation:

The caution that must be used to deal with the situation presented in the question above is prudence. As we know, Aristoteles was the first philosopher to treat ethics as a science. For him, the happiness of human beings was totally related to the experience of an ethical life and an ethical life is one that presents prudence as the basic virtue for all situations. Thus, we can say that the student presented in the text above, will only feel happy if he acts prudently, doing what is correct and avoiding plagiarism in his work. This will keep the student happy and with a clear conscience, because he knows that he acted correctly, regardless of the result that this promotes. If the student acts recklessly and commits plagiarism, even if he passes the course, he will not be happy. The unhappiness will happen because the student will have a heavy conscience and fear of being discovered and expelled from the course.
