DaniilM [7]

Answer:

There are 1084 pupils in that school.

Step-by-step explanation:

If there are 542 girls and boys then you would have to double 542 to get the total number of people. So, there are 1084 people in that school.

Hello there,

The outlier of the data set is 92. Lets first find everything with the outlier.
Mean: 60.08
Median: 57
Mode: 52
Range:46

Now let's take out the outlier of the set and see the difference.
Mean: 54.27
Median:56
Mode: 52
Range: 15

So as we can see without the outlier everything is closer together. The outlier shouldn't be included because that makes the entire set screwed up. The data is more accurate without the outlier.

Hope this helps!

Two trains, Train A and Train B weigh a total of 479 tons. Train A is heavier than Train B. The difference of their weights is
Marysya12 [62]

Answer:

A= 429

B= 50

Explanation:

A+B= 479 (take away)

A-B= 379

A-A+B+B= 479-379 (simplify)

2B= 100

I think you know how to do it now..

B=50

A=50+379 ---> 429

This is the substitution method, there are other ways of doing it- and I tried to make this simple. Hope this helped!

If you rotate a equilateral triangle by a side, what is the name of the resulting 3d shape
Katyanochek1 [597]

☞ANSWER☜

3D shapes

 • Cube Cuboid
 • Sphere Square-based pyramid
 • Cylinder Triangular prism
 • Pentagonal pyramid Hexagonal prism

☞EXPLANATION☜

A solid of revolution is a three-dimensional figure obtained by rotating a two-dimensional figure (or curve) around a straight line (called the axis) that lies in the same plane. ... Since the triangle's interior is shaded, it creates the interior of the cone, creating a solid figure.

Three dimensional shapes are obtained by rotating the two dimensional shapes. When a circle is rotated we get sphere; when a triangle is rotated we get cone; when rectangle or square is rotated we get cylinder
