Answer:A. 30% Stock, 70% fixed income (bond)

Explanation:

The stock market is the buying and selling of stock which values are subject to market speculations and it's inherent variations.

Precious metals is buying and selling of rare gems whose price are also subject to market valuation with incremental variations.

International bonds prices are not only affected by market forces but also international goverments influence which causes price variations.

Fixed bonds income provided fixed income at stated periods.

This are invariably why the emphasis should be on fixed income bond.

Financing cash flows in the statement of cash flows would include which of the following?
iVinArrow [24]

Answer:

c. Repayment of long-term borrowing to the bank.

Explanation:

The third section of the statement of cash flows shows the cash flows from financing activities. These activities are defined as ‘activities that result in changes in the size and composition  of the contributed equity and borrowings of the entity.’ It measures the flow of cash between a firm  and its owners and creditors. Companies often borrow money to fund their operations, acquire  another company or make other major purchases. Here again for investors, the most important  item is cash dividends paid.

Based on the above discussion, the following item shall be included in the financing cash flows.

c. Repayment of long-term borrowing to the bank.

Nelson Mfg. owns a manufacturing facility that is currently sitting idle and is debt-free. The facility is located on a piece of
rodikova [14]

Answer:

The total cost to include in any project analysis should be $1,700,000, which can be apportioned as follows:

Land = $159,000/$617,000 * $1,700,000 = $438,088

Facility = $458,000/$617,000 * $1,700,000 = $1,261,912

Explanation:

The fair market values of the Land and Facility are $438,088 and $1,261,912, being the amounts at which the land and facility could be sold together to obtain $1,700,000.

In project analysis, the relevant cost to include is not the sunk cost of $617,000 ($159,000 and $458,000), but the opportunity cost.

$1,700,000 represents the opportunity cost.

The opportunity cost is the cost that would have been incurred assuming that the land and facility were sold at the first bid.  This represents the bid price for the land and facility.

Ber [7]

Answer:

Answer is B

Explanation:

Cash flow = Net Income + Adjustment for Non-Cash expenses

So we must first calculate the Net Income for the second year using the Profit and Loss Statement format:

Year 2

Revenue                  $400,000

Less Expenses       ($220,500)

Less Depreciation  ($ 20,000)

Profit before Tax     $159,500

Less Tax                  ($54,230)            {34% of Profit before Tax}

Net Income              $105,270

Add Depreciation    $20,000

Cashflow                  $125, 270

{Remember Depreciation is a non cash expense, so we must add it to the Net income to arrive at the cash flow}

(Remember the company expects no change in revenue)

how can the size of the industrial/service sector and the agriculture employment rate indicate the level of industrialization?
Vikentia [17]

Answer:

A larger industrial and service sector, and a larger number of people working outside of agriculture, can indicate a higher level of industrialization in the economy and vice versa. This means that the size of industrial service and the sector of agriculture employment rate indicates the level of industrialization because if the agriculture employment is higher than the industrial service it means that the country is not fully developed yet and therefore the level of industrialization is lower. But if the industrial service is higher than the agriculture employment that suggests or indicates that the country is developing or developed. For example in the United States the size of the industrial/service sector is much larger than it's agricultural employment and therefore this should suggest that country is much more industrialized or developed and the United States is. In comparison you take a developing country such as Chad and you can see that the agricultural employment is higher than the size of the industrial/service sector and in relation to this you can see that Chad must have a lower level of industrialization and in fact it does.
