How did Galileo's ideas change the way Europeans looked at the universe? (One paragraph long)

History

People thought that the earth was the center of the universe and everything revolved around it, but people like Galileo disproved this and changed the way people understood the universe and were the ones to say the earth revolves around the sun. He also showed the planets revolve around the sun-or a new way of thinking. But when Galileo was trying to make people see the universe a different way Galileo has now finally discovered evidence to support Copernicus’ heliocentric theory when he observed four moons in orbit around Jupiter. Galileo confirmed Copernicus's theories on the universe by noting that the Earth did indeed revolve around the Sun and not the other way around as was thought at the time. With this, he opposed the church dogma at the time.

“Socialism with a human face” is MOST associated with __________.
Ludmilka [50]

Answer:

With reformist Alexander Dubcek.

Explanation:

"Socialism with human face" was the main slogan of a popular movement demanding more freedom and a relaxation of strict communist political control in Czechoslovakia in 1968. It was known as the Prague Spring. Alexander Dubcek was elected as a top Communist leader and he supported reforms. However, the Soviet Union´s and the socialist camp´s reaction was rejection. 200,000 Soviet and 400,000 other troops from "brotherly" socialist countries entered Czechoslovakia and suffocated the Prague Spring. Dubcek was removed from power and arrested. Soviet tanks occupying the streets of Prague are representative images of that historical moment.
