My idea for a new amendment would be equality for all regardless of race, gender, nationality, religion, etc. This amendment would protect all citizens from being mistreated. I believe that debates have become more consistent since 1987 because the people in the world have become more selfish and obsessed with themselves that they will do anything if it benefits them and if it is a bad thing then someone else stands up aganist them for there own selfish reasons.
