1) In order to find the area of a semicircle, you use  (πr^2)/2. When you plug in 3.14 as pi and 5 as your radius, you'll get 39.25. The area of the rectangle is base x height which is 10 x 15/150. 150 + 39.25 = 189.25

2) If you draw a vertical line that is parallel to the 2 feet measure, you'll have two rectangles with areas (5x3) and (3x2). 15 + 6 = 21
