Metaphor is known to be a figure of speech which actually describes something or an action in such a way that is not seen to be true literally. It helps to make a comparison without the use of <em>as</em> or <em>like</em> . It also helps to explain an idea by stating that one thing is another thing. When equating two things, it does so not because the two things are the same but just for the sake of comparison.
