The chart below shows the dates of eclipses in the years 2006 and 2007. What is the best explanation for the frequency of eclips

es? The Moon's orbit is tilted relative to the plane of the Earth's orbit. About every six months, the Sun, Moon and Earth are aligned enough for a solar and a lunar eclipse to occur. The Earth and Moon orbit the Sun in opposite directions. When the Moon's orbit crosses the Earth's orbit, a lunar or solar eclipse will occur. A lunar or a solar eclipse occurs every time the Moon orbits the Earth. The Moon orbits the Earth four times a year. The atmospheric conditions that cause eclipses are only found at certain locations and times of year.

Answer:

It's A

As the Gizmo shows, the Moon orbits at an angle relative to the plane of Earth's orbit. Usually, the Moon is above or below the Earth when an eclipse could happen. Every six months or so, the Moon, Earth and Sun are lined up sufficiently to create a lunar and a solar eclipse.

You are operating a powerboat at night. You see green and white lights on another boat. What should you do?
iVinArrow [24]

Answer:

Just maintain the course you are on and your speed.

Explanation:

When you see a green and a white light, then from the port (left) side you will start coming across another craft. You are the stand-alone craft in this scenario and therefore should stay consistent with your pace and direction. The other craft must take important and early measures to keep the craft away from you.

What is electric force
AysviL [449]

Electric force occurs between positive and negative electric charge. It can be calculated with formula F=\frac{Q_1Q_2}{A\epsilon_0\epsilon_r} where F is force, Q1 and Q2 are charges, A is area of object usually ball (A=4\pi r^2) because we describe charges as points in space like electrons and protons, \epsilon_0 is a natural dielectric constant of empty space or vacuum (\epsilon_0=8.85\times10^{-12}\mathsf{\frac{As}{Vm}}) and \epsilon_r also known as relative dielectric variable.

There are two types of the force:

1. Attractive electric force

2. Repulsive electric force

Attractive electric force occurs between positively and negatively charged objects while repulsive occurs between equally charged objects for eg. (positive and positive will repulse).

A hydraulic system at the mechanic shop can perform up to 180,000 joules of work in a day. if throughout the day it can lift 10
snow_tiger [21]

Answer:

9,000 N.

Explanation:

Workdone can be defined as the ability to do work. It is also the product of the force and the distance it is being moved.

Mathematically,

W = F * d

= 180,000/2

= 90,000 N.

Weight of the 10 cars = 90,000 N.

Weight of a car = 90000/10

= 9,000N.

Need help with formula: H(t) = -16^2 + vt + s
Rom4ik [11]

The equation is h(t) = at^2 + vt + d where a = acceleration of gravity = - 32.174 ft/sec^2 v = 25 feet/sec d = starting height = 0 and h(t) = 0 when the ball hits the ground. So, 0 = - 32.174t^2 + 25t + 0 You can use the quadratic formula on that if you want, or you can solve like this: 0 = - 32.174t^2 + 25t 0 = t ( -32.174t + 25) So, one solution of that is t = 0, corresponding to the initial time when the ball is kicked. The other time is: 25 = 32.174t t = 25/32.174 = 0.777 seconds or approximately 0.8 seconds.
