When a dominant trait is present it will always show. For example long tails are dominant. (Ll and LL will both result in long tails). For recessive traits you need two of them for the trait to show. For example short tails are recessive. (You HAVE to get ll for the short tail trait to show in the offspring.

Answer: Dominant traits are always expressed when the connected allele is dominant, even if only one copy of the dominant trait exists. Recessive traits are expressed only if both the connected alleles are recessive. hope this helps

Cloudy nights are often warmer than clear nights. Why is this so?
dsp73

Answer: B

Explanation: The clouds act almost like a lid. Think of it like when you put tin foil over food before it goes in the oven. so that even after it is removed from the heat the tin foil traps it causing it to stay warm.

The chemical equation shows the production of magnesium chloride.
Norma-Jean [14]

Answer:

1 gram of H2 will be produced from 12 grams of Mg.

Explanation:

According to Stoichiometry, 0.5 moles of Mg are present. 1 mole of Mg produces 1 mole of H2, so 0.5 moles of Mg will produce 0.5 moles of H2. Multiplying molar mass of H2 i.e. 2 gram/mole with 0.5 moles, we can find the mass of H2 in grams which is 1 gram.

Question 5 why does grinding solid crystals increase the rate of dissolving for a solid solute in water? smaller crystals are mo
My name is Ann [436]
Grinding solid crystals increase the rate of dissolving for a solid solute in water because smaller crystals have more surface area. The solubility of a substance depends on the physical and chemical properties of the solute and solvent as well as the temperature, pressure and the pH of the solution. For example increase in temperature increases the rate at which a solute dissolves in a solvent.

How many grams of oxygen are there in 45.7 grams of Ba(NO2),?
Flauer [41]
I’m assuming you mean barium nitrite, Ba(NO2)2.

First convert grams of Ba(NO2)2 to moles using the molar mass of Ba(NO2)2. Then use the mole ratio of 4 moles of oxygen per 1 mole of Ba(NO2)2 to convert to moles of oxygen. Then use the molar mass of oxygen to convert to grams of oxygen.

45.7 g Ba(NO2)2 • 1 mol Ba(NO2)2 / 229.35 g Ba(NO2)2 • 4 mol O / 1 mol Ba(NO2)2 • 16.0 g O / 1 mol O = 12.8 g oxygen
