If the length of the legs of the second triangle are proportional to the lengths of the legs of the first triangle, we could simply multiply both of the dimensions by whole numbers and get an infinite number of proportional lengths.

Example:
4.5 * 2 = 9
1.5 * 2 = 3

A triangle with legs measuring 9 meters and 3 meters will be proportional to the first triangle with leg lengths of 4.5 and 1.5 meters, respectively.

More proportional lengths:
4.5 * 3 = 13.5
1.5 * 3 = 4.5

4.5 * 4 = 18
1.5 * 4 = 6

My question was;
UkoKoshka [18]

Answer:

84.

Step-by-step explanation:

96 / (7 + 5) + 19 * 4

Use order of operations (PEMDAS* ).

Perform the operation in the parentheses first:

= 96/12 + 19*4

Now the divide and multiplication:

= 8 + 76

and finally the add:

= 84.

*PEMDAS = ParanthesesExponentsMultiplyDivideAddSubtract.

Galina-37 [17]

Answer

Find out the percentage of students from the north side of the city in the program .

To prove

Formula

Percentage = \frac{Part\ value\times 100}{Total\ value}

As given

A magnet school program was set up to bring in students from all over the city. With the first 112 students .

the magnet program had 50% from the south side of town, 12.5% from the north side l, and 37.5% from the east side.

12 .5 % is written in the decimal form.

= \frac{12.5}{100}

= 0.125

North side student be = 0.125 × 112

                                     = 14

As given

If 6 more student from the north side and 2 students from the west side side enrolled in the program .

than north side student becomes = 14 + 6

                                                        = 20

Total number of student becomes = 112 + 6 + 2

                                                         = 120

put in the above formula

Percentage =\frac{20\times100}{120}

Percentage =\frac{2000}{120}

                          = 16.66% (approx)

Therefore  16.66% (approx) students from the north side of the city in the program .
