Mathematics

 An easy way is to do it, if you get confused by multiplying fractions, is by turning the fractions into decimals. Since you are trying to find N you want to multiply the 1/5 by the 1/3.

1/5 = 0.2

1/3 = 0.33333333333333333333333333333333

 if you multiply those you get 0.06666666666666666666666666666667 which when put into a fraction it equals 1/15

but if you don't want to do that just try to remember that you want to get by itself. and when multiplying fractions in this situation the bottom numbers only matter.. so 5 x 3 = 15  1/15

would you like me to put it in a document to show you?

The area A(r)(in square meters) of a circular algae colony with radius r meters is given by A(r)=pir^2. Basically that's A(r)= p
Taya2010 [7]

Answer:

The expression provided by the area (square meters) is given by:  A(t) = pi \frac{100t^{2} }{9}.

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of the algae colony is a function of the radius r (meters), so A(r) = \pi r ^ 2.

The radius of the circle formed by the algae colony is a function of time t (in minutes), so M (t) = \frac{10t }{3}. So,

A(r) = \pi r ^ 2  [Substituting the expression for radius]

A(t) = pi (\frac{10t }{3})^{2} = pi \frac{100t^{2} }{9}

Then the expression provided by the area (square meters) is given by:  A(t) = pi \frac{100t^{2} }{9}.

All I want is to find the X.<br>Tell me how to start this problem<br>please and thank you ❤️
Blababa [14]

Answer:

x = 7

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that adding TUW and WUV will give TUV.

So you can substitute the given equations for each and form a lengthy equation

5x + 3 + 10x -5 = 17x - 16

Move all the variables to one side, and the constants to the other

5x + 10x - 17x = -16 - 3 + 5

Simplify!

-2x = -14

x = 7
