Answer:

They aren't asking for an essay, so I don't want to hear that there aren't enough words.

Explanation:

  • During his presidency, Roosevelt faced many problems facing the New Deal policies. He faced opposition from a conservative dominated Supreme Court who struck down a number of his policies during the First New Deal in particular. The Supreme Court no doubt helped push Roosevelt into pursuing more radical legislation after 1934, such as the Social Security Act.
  • The political "right" accused Roosevelt of not going far enough with his relief programs.
  • The political "left" accused Roosevelt of going too far and creating a nation dependent in government handouts.

Naya [18.7K]
Both revolutions started rather moderately, with people demanding more representation in government. Neither gained the full support of everyone in the respective nations either, as evidenced by Loyalists in the US and counterrevolutions in areas like the Vendee in France. In France, the revolution became more radical and ideological, taking Enlightenment ideals and rationalism to the extreme. The revolution in France also led to the dictatorship of Napoleon and the restoration is Bourbon monarchs, so ultimately a return to the status quo, while the American Revolution was successful in gaining American independence. Furthermore, the French Revolution was fought in France while the American Revolution was fought in the colonies of England and never sought to completely depose George III, just remove his control of the colonies.

How did mercantilist policies create tension between great britian and the colonies?
Olenka [21]
Well, mercantilism is when the colony is only made to support the mother country. In this scenario, the mother country is Great Britain and they are benefiting off of the colonies in America. America doesn’t want to only benefit England, but they want to be independent. That was tension enough.
