Hello

so what we can gather form the diagram given is that all the angles there will add up to 360°.

we can see that they have given one of the angles as 90° as indicated by the little square. so the first step to find x, we need to subtract 90 from 360.
360-90=270

now, we can form an equation to find x. we need to add the other two angles (x, 3x) and then make them equal to 270°.
3x+x=270
add like terms
4x=270
divide by 4
x=67.5°

hope this helps
have a nice day :)

Graph the following system of linear inequalities. Identify at least two points in the solution: y < 5 - 2x | x + 5y > -7
romanna [79]

Answer:

(1,2) and (2,-1)

Step-by-step explanation:

we have

y< 5-2x ----> inequality A

The solution of the inequality A is the shaded area below the dashed line y=5-2x

x+5y>-7 ---->inequality B

The solution of the inequality B is the shaded area above the dashed line x+5y=-7

The solution of the system of inequalities is the triangular shaded area between the two dashed lines

If a ordered pair is a solution of the system of inequalities, then the ordered pair must lie on the shaded area

Two points in the solution are(1,2) and (2,-1)see the attached figure

Is 10 a perfect square? Explain why or why not.
Sedbober [7]
No, 10 is not a perfect square because in order for a number to be a perfect square, you have to see if the numbers that are multiplied to get it are the same. for 10 it isn't a perfect square because the numbers that multiply to get it (1, 2, 5 and 10) are different numbers.

Two vertical angles are expressed as (1/2)x+12 and (3/4)x+8. Find the value of x.
JulijaS [17]

Answer:

x = 16

Step-by-step explanation:

Since vertical angles are equal, we can set these two expressions equal to each other to solve for x:

(1/2)x + 12 = (3/4)x + 8

12 = 0.25x + 8

4 = 0.25x

16 = x
