Natalie has a choice of three bread five choices of meat and four choices of cheese to make a sandwich. How many different sandwiches can she make?

So here I use a formulae called the fundemnetal rule of counting.
This states that if there are M ways of doing N things then there are M multiplied by N ways of doing it.
It doesn’t matter how much numbers there are,just multiply them together.

So you have 3 choices of bread multiplied by 5 choices of meat which gives you a total of 15 choices.
Now there are 4 choices of cheeses for 15 choices right?
So multiplieng 15 by 4 gets you 40 right?
So the answer is 40 ways of doing this.
