Based on the data the students have concluded that substance d was baking powder. The texture of the baking powder written in the chart was defined was fine powder. Baking powder can be seen as a fine powder unlike granular. The chart also states that the interactions between h2o and vinegar was that the substance dissolves partially/created bubbles. This shows that when substance d interacted with water it had partially dissolved like baking powder would. When substance d interacted with vinegar it had created carbon dioxide bubbles. When baking powder dissolves in vinegar it creates a reaction leading it to form carbon dioxide bubbles. Therefore, substance d is baking powder. (Idk how to write the rebuttal Bc I can’t see what other students claimed...)
